Starting
with her arangetram in Madras, India in 1984, Vidhya has had over two
hundred performances world-wide. National and international dignitaries
have appreciated her talent, including the Prime Minister and President
of India, Russian and Kenyan ambassadors, and the Chief Minister and Governor
of Tamil Nadu, India.

in Madras, India, she had very successful performances that were critically

performance in the Padmanabha Temple with the royalty of Travancore in
attendance harked back to the days of yore, when Bharatanatyam was an integral
part of temple rituals and royal occasions- a rare treat for the contemporary
