Since its inception in 1990, Lasya, meaning 'graceful dancing', has staged critically acclaimed productions, elaborating on traditional, spiritual, modern and collaborative themes.

In addition to participating in group productions, many from among the eighty Lasya dancers are regularly invited to perform at multi-cultural festivals and events.

Lasya arangetrams (solo debuts) are visible proof of the high standards inculcated in its students. Several dancers, featured under company dancers, have debuted to much appreciation thus far.
