the last twenty years, Vidhya Subramanian has consistently earned recognition
and scholarships from premier arts organizations in India. In addition
to live audiences, as India's National television's Grade A artist, Vidhya
has brought Bharatanatyam to the homes of millions. Among her awards, the

(1999) - The Nadanamamani title is conferred by the Karthik Fine Arts Society
to eminent artists in the field of dance. Karthik Fine Arts is a premier
cultural organization in the city of Madras, India dedicated to promoting
Indian Music, Dance and Drama
"Yuva
Kala Bharathi" (1997) - Bharat Kalachar awarded the title to Vidhya in
recognition of her extraordinary talent. Bharat Kalachar is an institution
based in Madras, India, that organizes Youth Festivals to promote a spirit
of Indian-ness among the youth, through different Indian Arts
